ENROLL
Ways to enroll in Medi-Cal and Covered California:
GET CARE
Find a primary care doctor. Ask your health plan for help locating an available doctor near you.
When you first qualify for Medi-Cal, you are covered under Medi-Cal Fee-for-Service. However, you must choose a health plan within 30 days. If you do not choose a plan within 30 days, the State will choose a plan for you. You can change your plan at any time.
Find a dentist. Visit SmileCalifornia.org to find a Medi-Cal dentist and a dental home near you.
There are clinics and community organizations that can help you figure out how to get care.

They can connect you with your local legal aid program based on your zip code. Health Coverage
The Children’s Partnership and our ALL IN for Health partners created this community-friendly resource that provides families with an overview about how to enroll in health coverage, renew their health coverage, and how to get care. Use this resource to stay informed on important changes to Medi-Cal, and important health coverage updates for our immigrant communities!
Available in other languages here: Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Tagalog, Punjabi, Korean, Vietnamese, Haitian Creole
To help you easily share these resources with your communities, we’ve put together a social media toolkit for you to use that includes social media posts and images with key data.
Medi-Cal Renewal Flier
The Children’s Partnership created a community-friendly half pager specifically on Medi-Cal renewals. Families can use our half pager to find out which steps to take in order to #KeepKidsCovered!
