Creating Safe Spaces

ALL IN for Safe Schools, Bringing Up California, CLASP and the Child Care Law Center created this resource for California’s early care and education providers. The one-pager “How to Create Safe Spaces in Early Care and Education for Children in Immigrant Families” offers ECE providers a concise, practical guide for implementing safe-space guidance into site policies to support the safety, confidence and well-being of children in immigrant families. This fact sheet highlights the rights of ECE sites and the families they serve, and clarifies what immigration agents must show to gain legal access to ECE sites.
